For a starter, let's look at the basic 10000 mAh power bank standard models by the two brands: the Anker PowerCore 10000 and the Ravpower 10000 Power Bank. These do not offer any fast-charge protocols like Power Delivery and Quick Charge. Instead, these packs rely on their respective fast-charge technologies such as PowerIQ for Anker, and iSmart for Ravpower. Despite not having PD and QC protocols, both packs can still charge iPhones (6/7/7 Plus/8/8 Plus/X/XR/XS/XS Max/SE, etc.), and various Android phones (Samsung Galaxy S8-S10+, etc., Huawei P10/Mate 9/Mate 20, etc., Google Pixel/Pixel 3A, etc.). For power-hungry devices such as laptops, you might want to check other packs with higher outputs. While the Anker pack is much lighter and slimmer than that of Ravpower, the latter offers a maximum output of 17W as compared to the 12W output of the former. It may have to do with the Ravpower pack having two USB-A ports, as compared to the Anker pack only having one. These two USB-A ports can be used to charge two devices at the same time. However, the real deal with the Ravpower 10000 Power Bank is that it offers more charging power for a much cheaper price! So, if you want an affordable power bank that can charge two devices at a satisfying rate, the Ravpower 10000 Power Bank suits your needs!

Now, we go to the 10000 mAh packs that offer fast-charging via Power Delivery (PD). These packs are capable of fast-charging PD-compatible devices such as iPhones, Samsung Galaxy Phones, and even Nintendo Switches. For this one, we'll compare the Anker PowerCore Slim 10000 PD and the Ravpower PD Pioneer 10000. Again, the Ravpower pack offers more charging features for a lower price as compared to the Anker pack. The 29W total output alone should amaze you as it's a very high output for a 10000 mAh pack. Comparing it to the Anker pack's 18W PD output, the Ravpower pack is the more powerful PD pack as it also measures 29W. You can make the most out of the Ravpower PD Pioneer 10000 in terms of charging PD-compatible devices like iPhones, and even large devices like laptops. If you're still not convinced, we at PowerUp conducted separate tests for the Anker PowerCore Slim PD 10000 and the Ravpower PD Pioneer 10000, and guess what? The Ravpower Pack definitely showed very impressive results that even if it was subjected to its maximum output of 29W, the Ravpower pack still performs well with an 83.5% efficiency. As per the Anker pack, while it performed well with great efficiency at both outputs of 5W and 9W, it did have very disappointing results at the 18W output because of its efficiency of 47.49%, which is basically half the capacity of the pack. The Ravpower pack is obviously the better pack as you can really make the most out of its high charging output. What more can we say about the Ravpower pack? Well, much unlike the Anker PowerCore Slim II PD, the Ravpower PD Pioneer 10000 also charges Quick Charge devices ranging from Samsung phones (Samsung Galaxy Note 4/5/Edge/9, Samsung Galaxy S5-S10), Xiaomi phones (3/4/4c/5/6/7/8/Note/Note Pro/Max-Max 3), BlackBerry phones (Evolve/KEYone/KEY2/KEY2 LE), and many more. Even Huawei phones (with their exclusive proprietary protocols) can be charged using this power bank. The Ravpower pack also beats the Anker pack with its recharge time, with the former having a much faster recharge time using the USB-C PD wall charger (not included). So, in general, the Ravpower PD Pioneer 10000 offers so much more, yet still much cheaper than the Anker PowerCore Slim II PD. It's compatible with almost every phone (except the more obscure ones) that, in our opinion, we can say that the Ravpower PD Pioneer 10000 suits for nearly every person who wants an affordable yet powerful 10000 pack.

We'll now look into the 20000 mAh packs! Starting from the PD-compatible packs, let's compare the Anker PowerCore Speed 20000 and the Ravpower 20000 PD 3.0. Even in the 20000 mAh packs, Ravpower's 20000 mAh PD pack is still very impressive because of its 60W total output, as compared to the Anker pack having only 24W. This is also the case for its PD Output. Thus, a 60W PD output can provide more charging to your PD-compatible devices such as iPhones, Samsung Galaxy phones, and many more! Now, We know what you're thinking. "Geez, does the Ravpower pack have a 60W PD output? Sounds deceiving to me." We get it, that's why we at PowerUp also tested the Ravpower 20000 PD and after testing it on a whopping 60W output, we can attest to the powerful charging offers of the Ravpower Pack as it performed at an 82% efficiency. Much like its 10000 PD cousin, you can really maximize the use of the Ravpower pack to its full potential and with really great results. In addition, much like the Ravpower PD Pioneer 10000, the Ravpower 20000 PD 3.0 is also compatible with Quick Charge devices on its USB-A port. Meanwhile, the Anker PowerCore Speed 20000's USB-A port only charges about 10W (5V/2A). It can only do a standard but still satisfying charging rate for your device. Interestingly enough, the Ravpower 20000 PD 3.0 is compatible with power-hungry devices like laptops such as Macbooks (12"/13"/15"/Air), Dell XPS (13/15), Huawei Matebooks (X/X Pro/13), Xiaomi Air Laptops, and many more. The Ravpower Pack also recharges much faster than the Anker pack. However, you might want to consider purchasing the Anker pack instead of as the package includes a USB-C PD wall charger. Thus, you can buy both the pack and the charger instead of buying it separately. So far, the Anker pack isn't available on Amazon nowadays yet you can still purchase it elsewhere such as on Lazada Philippines (except, it doesn't have a charger). However, for the most part, the Ravpower 20000 PD 3.0 still beats Anker for its powerful charging capabilities for an affordable price. If you want a power bank that can power your PD or QC-compatible device, or even big laptops, with amazing results, the Ravpower 20000 PD 3.0 is the perfect pack for you.

For this part, we'll check the 20000mAh Quick Charge packs, namely: the Anker PowerCore 20000 Q.C. 3.0 and the Ravpower 20100 mAh Q.C. 3.0. Will Ravpower continue to reign in this showdown? Well, for this one, the Anker PowerCore 20000 QC has its advantages. Looking at the total output, the Ravpower pack's 30W output is much higher than Anker's 24W. However, if we look at the individual ports, the Anker pack offers more Quick Charge output with 24W, as compared to Ravpower's 18W. Outside of that, Ravpower still has the lead! For one, the Ravpower pack has three ports with varying charging outputs. There's one USB-A port that offers 18W Quick Charge, another USB-A port with a 12W charge, and a USB-C port with a 15W charge. Meanwhile, the Anker pack only has two ports: a USB-A port that offers 24W Quick Charge, and a USB-A port with a 10W charge. Another thing to consider is the charging time. Using the Q.C. charger, the Ravpower pack can be fully recharged for about 4.5 hours; much faster comparing that to the Anker pack that can recharge the pack fully for 5.6 hours. So, which is the better pack? Well, if you want a power bank that could perform better fast-charge for your QC-compatible device, the Anker PowerCore 20000 QC will be a great fit because of its 24W QC output. However, if you're looking for a more powerful pack that can also charge non-QC phones with efficient results, the Ravpower 20100 mAh QC is the better pack overall.

Lastly, we'll look into the 26800 mAh power banks! Specifically, we'll compare 26800 mAh PD packs such as Anker PowerCore+ 26800 PD and the Ravpower PD Pioneer 26800. Comparing the two packs, it's surprising that the Anker PowerCore+ 26800 PD has some significant advantages than the Ravpower PD Pioneer 26800. With its total PD Output of 45W (as compared to Ravpower's 30W) and faster charging time of 3.3 hours (as compared to Ravpower's 4-5 hour charging time), we can argue that the Anker pack is a better PD pack. Outside PD functions, the Ravpower still has its advantages such as its slightly more compatibility with USB-A output for standard charging such as Quick Charge phones and other proprietary protocols. What about laptops? Well, not all laptops are capable of charging efficiently with both packs. It's possible that it can give great charging power for 12" laptops such as Macbooks, but you may want to consider finding other power banks that could give efficient charging for laptops that require higher input. In this case, we highly recommend the Ravpower 27000 mAh AC Power Bank with its 100W maximum output as a better alternative to charge even power-hungry laptops. It is also worth noting that the price of the Ravpower pack is half the price than that of Anker. However, the Ravpower PD Pioneer 26800 isn't available on Amazon, but can still be purchased on the actual Ravpower website. You can ensure that the power bank that you'll be purchasing is original and of high quality. In general, if you're looking for a 26800 PD pack that has greater performance for charging PD-compatible devices like iPhones, and can also charge non-PD devices and 12" laptops with great results, the Anker PowerCore+ 26800 PD is for you. However, if the price of the Anker concerns you, you might want to consider the Ravpower PD Pioneer 26800 as it is much cheaper but still has great charging offers for your PD-compatible phone and your 12" laptop.

The Verdict

After comparing the top rated power banks by Anker and Ravpower, here are our main takeaways: Ravpower packs typically have significantly higher outputs than that of Anker's of similar capacity; Ravpower packs can typically recharge faster than that of Anker due to higher Max input; Ravpower packs are much cheaper than Anker packs, without, yet often offers greater charging performance and a wider range of fast charge compatibility; We can say that the Ravpower power banks have been consistent in providing great charging, offering support for a wide array of devices such as iPhones, Android phones, and even laptops. For the most part, these packs have very high outputs when compared to other power banks of similar rated capacity (especially when compared with Anker). It is impressive that a 10000 mAh pack can have a 29W output and a 20000 mAh pack having a 60W output that, even when we test its limits, these power banks still perform better than most power banks of the same battery capacity. Ravpower packs are consistent in being the most affordable power bank brand. While Anker packs are impressive in their own right, the Ravpower packs offer more at a cheaper price! If you're the kind of person who wants a power bank that can provide impressive fast-charging for your phones and other gadgets. In conclusion, Ravpower power banks offer more for the price of less. Their high output packs are compatible with almost every device (except the more obscure protocols) that you can assure yourself that your device can be charged with their packs with impressive results. Therefore, if you want an affordable power bank that can power up your devices greatly, choose Ravpower! asdf
